When Your K- Grade 8 Child Needs a Different School Fit

Join Madrona Independent School’s K - Grade 8 Open House – January 15
Many parents of bright, gifted, or twice-exceptional (2e) children share a similar story: their child is capable, curious, and intelligent, yet school feels hard. Despite best efforts, traditional classrooms don’t always meet the needs of learners who think deeply, feel intensely, or develop asynchronously.
At Madrona Independent School, we understand that gifted and neurodivergent learners often need something different. Our programs are intentionally designed to support the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally, so students can truly thrive.
This week, we invite families to learn more at our upcoming Open House.
Open House Details
Thursday, January 15
6:00–7:00 pm
The Open House is an opportunity for parents and your family members to:
Learn how Madrona supports gifted and twice-exceptional learners
Understand our small class sizes and personalized, inquiry-based approach
Meet educators experienced in supporting asynchronous development
Ask questions and explore whether Madrona could be the right fit for their child
This event is ideal for families who feel their child may be misunderstood, under-challenged, or overwhelmed in a traditional school setting.
