Welcome to Madrona.

I believe schools do their most important work when children are truly known. Together, we celebrate their strengths, nurture their love of learning, and challenge them to discover just how much they are capable of.

That belief is at the heart of Madrona. Our small, vibrant community allows us to understand each student deeply and create learning experiences that honour the curiosity, complexity, and individuality of our bright neurodivergent learners.

We are a community where learning and belonging are inseparable. When students feel they belong, families and educators work in genuine partnership, and children are surrounded by people who believe in them, school becomes a place of possibility.

Our vision is that every child at Madrona comes to see a future filled with opportunity, develops the confidence to dream boldly, and leaves us with the skills and courage to turn those dreams into reality.

Board of Directors

Madrona School Society is a not-for-profit society that was established in 1993 under the Province of British Columbia’s Society Act (since replaced by the Societies Act) for the purposes of supporting the management of Madrona School and ensuring that the educational goals set out in its constitution are met.

The Madrona School Society Board of Directors has the authority and responsibility to supervise the management of the affairs of the Society to ensure its continued well-being. The Board oversees the strategy, the budget, and financial controls, and sets the overarching policies for the operation and control of the school.
