At Madrona we know each student's gifts are different and while students may be advanced in some areas, they may need support in others. We believe in educating the whole child and preparing them for the future world we share.
Why Madrona School?
Our strengths are our low student-to-educator ratio and our focus on project-based and independent learning intentionally planned to address the asynchronous pathways of bright, gifted, and twice exceptional students. Additionally, our flexibility and expertise lie in educating gifted students in a non-traditional way.
Our purpose is to prepare students academically, socially, and emotionally for their future.
APPLICATION PROCESS

REVIEW
Our Admissions team will review all applications. Families of short-listed students will be contacted for an online interview with a member of the Admissions team.

EXPERIENCE DAYS
Experience Days will be arranged for your child to experience a few days in the life of a Madrona student.

DECISION
All decisions will be communicated within a week of the student visit day.

After leaving Madrona in 2019, I attended the University Transition Program at UBC, graduated from high school in 2020, and began pursuing my university education. I’ve just completed my second year of a combined Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Computer Science, and Masters of Management degree, both of which I will graduate with in 2024. I’m now working full time as a software engineer intern at Dialogue Health Technologies, where I’m able to combine my passion for coding with my interest in helping people and making the world a better place through technology.
