Jason was born and raised in Vancouver and has spent a good deal of time exploring the wilderness around BC and beyond. He has a Degree in Education from UBC, a Graduate Diploma in Nature-Based Experiential Learning, and a Masters in Educational Practice, both from SFU. Prior to becoming an educator, Jason spent a number of years working for Electronic Arts. In his spare time he loves to spend time with his wife and daughters at their off-the-grid cabin on Valdes.
