We employ a variety of teaching methods, as are appropriate to the situation and the needs of the students.

What we do in a given situation depends on the subject, the mix of students in the class, and our plans for the remainder of the day. We believe that students benefit from opportunities to do projects sometimes on their own and at other times in groups. Some subjects are very skill-oriented and require a sequenced approach, while others lend themselves to freer exploration.
We use our best judgment to balance the needs of our learners, the expectations of their parents, and the demands of the BC curriculum.
