We work with each child at a level appropriate to his/her ability.
Madrona staff evaluate incoming students in core academic subjects in order to provide a suitable learning environment for each one. Our primary goal is to see that a child is neither over-taxed nor under-challenged. We measure our success by the responses of those in our care.
We expect that Madrona children will leave the school at day's end content that their experiences were worthwhile, proud of the work they did, and secure in their relationships.
