Notes About Fees
- The $3000 tuition payment upon enrollment is a non-refundable deposit.
- The Parent Fund is a one-time payment. Uses of the Parent Fund are directly related to student enrichment:
- Payment of guest speakers.
- Class trips - especially useful for Phys. Ed. in the absence of a gymnasium at Madrona.
- Specialized equipment and materials for enrichment components of the course: This includes such things as cameras and camera equipment, materials for Scientastics, appropriate software, food for a cooking unit, costumes for a drama unit - anything that supports learning outside the standard curriculum.
- What is not covered by school fees?
- Purchase of a school yearbook.
- Back to school supplies, as listed in the August letter to parents.
- Optional purchases (Madrona T-shirts, for example).
